December 28, 2009
Just four business days left in 2009: four days in which to book any gains or losses, four days for tax payments to get postmarked, four days for certain car buyers to get a tax break. The week between Christmas and New Years Day is often considered a "slow" week in many fields - a great week to enjoy time off with family and friends. Not so in the investment and tax businesses. Any actions defined as 2009 by the calendar must get done this week, and we will be here to do them. Both of our offices will be open all week and as always we welcome your questions and the opportunity to be of service to you. Later this week I'll review 2009's rollercoaster ride for financial markets.
