If I asked you to describe prosperity and security, what would you picture in your head? I am not talking about dollar signs or rate of return, rather, what do you want your money to do for you, both now and in the future?
Is it finally taking that trip to Paris? Owning a beautiful house on the lake? Or simply the joy of making your final mortgage payment and staying right where you are? In your vision are you hiking through a redwood forest? Or simply sitting on a veranda enjoying a cup of coffee?
Each of us has our own unique vision.
Many of us find the thought of a financial strategy about as appealing as a visit to the dentist, you're not alone. Your money is important, but it is meaningless if it can't be connected to the rest of your life. Thinking about money becomes exciting and fun when it's tied to your personal vision instead of a pile of technical details.
It can be easier than you think.
TAKE ACTION: To better help individuals envision their financial strategy, I am hosting a workshop called "Your Prosperity Picture" at the end of this month. It will be fun, interactive, and you will be able create your own vision board. Free to attend but space is limited. If you would like to attend, contact me for further details at 585.340.2246.
