Mason Buchholz joined the Brighton Securities team as our Technology Support Specialist. Mason brings a wealth of experience and a passion for technology that will greatly benefit our organization.
Mason joins us from Brite, where he excelled in managing incoming calls and tickets, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring clear communication with users. His strong technical background is supported by certifications from Google IT Support, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, and other professional credentials.
Hailing from Lyndonville, a small town where he graduated in a class of about 50, Mason's journey into the world of technology began with a technical endorsement in CNC Machining from his BOCES classes. One of his proudest achievements was fabricating parts for the International Space Station (ISS), which continue to assist astronauts in their experiments today.
After exploring various career paths, including CNC machining and rebar detailing, Mason discovered his true passion for IT. He pursued further training through Merit America, equipping himself with the skills needed to excel in the IT industry. He started his IT career as a NOC Analyst L1 at a Managed Service Provider (MSP), where he gained valuable experience and expanded his expertise.
Mason's commitment to continuous learning and his enthusiasm for technology make him a valuable addition to our team. Outside of work, Mason enjoys playing guitar, video games, attending concerts, and playing hockey.
